We are pleased to introduce our diverse and growing team of consultants:

- MAKING EVENTS HAPPEN -

John Farrell, Engineer / Producer: John has toured with major label acts and provided audio for some of the most complicated audio setups imaginable.  Though he has worked in arenas and small indoor venues, his talent is most obvious when providing rigging, power, lighting, projection, audio and all support to make any outdoor situation go off without a hitch.  From Bill Clinton & Elton John to RuffCutz Indie Film Conference (ImageIcon Entertainment) & our Boston Swing, John handles the unique complications of outdoor/projected productions with serious finesse.  Through his management role at middlehouse, John was the front of house audio engineer for the Pat Methany Tour and chief in-house engineer for Boston's renowned Bayside Exposition Center.  He regularly travels the country for national clients who refuse to have anyone but him personally providing their sound support.  Backed by the deep resources and intellect of the middlehouse team, John is the guy we count on when "anything could happen".  If thousands of people are going to see and hear what you have in mind, we immediately have John in mind...and you should too.

 - FULL SERVICE, COMPLEX PROJECTS -

Mark Mahar, Producer : Since 2000, Mark has been focused full-time on developing the assets of our Parent Company & Clients.  He can also be found on stage, performing with the band that he formed and loves (Boston Swing).  Mark labels himself as "a singer who was born a carpenter and grew up to be a workaholic".  He formed his first company at 17 and started his career in the construction industry (which has led to his design, field, management and consulting roles in countless residential & commercial projects).   His extensive experience with live performance includes national conventions, high-society events and providing production services to some of the most recognizable brands / venues in the entertainment industry.  He has written, produced, and performed for Film, TV, Radio, Commercials & Stage.  Armed with a degree in architecture and a construction supervisor's license, Mark can tap his knowledge of "what is required to put on a great show" and use it to calibrate (then create) any environment to suit a client's vision - he has a proven talent for Design, Budgeting, Building and Production.  As the President / CEO of our Parent Company (Mahar Enterprises, Inc.), Mark has consulted on a wide variety of projects from "intellectual property management" to "technology & web broadcasting".  In 1995 Mark developed a proprietary strategy for marketing which has been applied to startups & inventions from toys to airplane wings (for everyone from entrepreneurs to schools).  Mark has held numerous management or executive roles that placed him in the middle of the automotive, retail & aviation sectors (projects as large as $26M).  Having launched several companies and products as a Partner, Investor or Consultant, Mark is ideally suited to commercial entertainment development projects and feasibility / design of startup ventures (buildings and inventions - specifically geared towards exploiting the entertainment industry or leisure market).  Use our team to bring the "Big Picture" into focus...without disregarding those important pieces that effectively keep a company alive.

- ANY PERFORMANCE SPACE -

Rob Pemberton, Engineer / Producer: Rob has designed, built, dismantled and/or produced for the most technologically advanced rooms in the recording and performance industry.  Rob is the owner/operator of RPC Audio and RPC Studios.  When you hunt for a person to design a space that will be used for recording or performance, it stands to reason that you want someone who has recorded or engineered countless notable performances - Rob definitely fits the bill.  He's built and rebuilt some of the most advanced gear on the planet (some of the vintage museum caliber equipment he services requires the attention span of a devoted curator).  From acoustic studies to multi-million dollar sound systems, Rob is our first call for all things "indoors".  He's the guy that uses phrases like "distributed audio" and "wall baffles".  He knows what frequency a floor will vibrate at and whether the electricity is going to be friendly to your $80,000 mixing board (he also designs a mean home theater).  His ability to inventory and competently determine/budget any "salvage potential" makes him invaluable to clients who are hopeful to save money without compromising on quality (or plan to dismantle a space they have outgrown).  In a controlled environment it is ideal to have as many controls "built-in".  Rob will work with you to expertly enhance your control of an audience environment (with the simple turn of a knob).  When everything else is done properly, a performance venue can be managed by one simple control criteria, "volume".
